5 yrs ago, i drank the first, and only bottle of "mello yello" i would ever drink. it was only years later when i realized: "hey, i of only drunk one bottle of mello yello EVER!" then it occured to me: some sodas truly are INDIE! mello yello is a truly rare soda, only found occasionally on pop fountains, and almost never in stores. in fact, it seemz to me that canned versions of melloyello are almost obselete, out of production, and like totally taken over by its main competiter: mtn dew. 2 me, this wasnt disgouraging, but envogorating, and symbolized the take over of large record corperations over small indie labelz. it seemz to me that these indie soda "lables" imbody the true, entrepreneuriel american spirit; being diffirent, being inpopular, being outkast, but still maneging to hold on. mello yello isnt alone. there are other indie versions of pop. like seirra mist four instance, for those americen consumers how like 2 b diffrent and: mistey...
this indieniss i see in soda is indieniss i see in evryday life. the indie spirit, the indie mentality, the indie fiath.

Theo
hi everyone. my name is theo d'angelo and i live in st. bonifacius, minnesota. i love music. i love life. i love the genuine obscurity of a day well spent. i live just far enough from the twin cities that the current is fuzzy when i listen to it, but close enough to pop in for a concert or two every month. if i coud, i'd live in downtwon mpls in the warehouse district by all the arts an the sounds and the people. there is such a culture in the cities, especially mpls. st.p does'nt have quite the scene they do, but its no biggie. of course, theres nothin in st. bonifacius, but, hey, i make music. maybe i can stand up and start a scene...who knows?
